Empowering E-Invoicing in Singapore: Esker now C5 Accredited & Fully Supports Peppol PINT
Since its launch in 2019 by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), InvoiceNow has become a cornerstone of Singapore’s national digitalisation journey. Built on the international Peppol standard, InvoiceNow allows businesses to send and receive e-invoices directly between finance systems, ensuring security, accuracy, and speed in invoice processing.
Whether you’re a small enterprise or a large organisation, InvoiceNow is designed to help you reduce manual processing, improve cashflow visibility and foster better relationships with customers and suppliers. It’s more than just an invoicing tool — it’s part of Singapore’s broader push toward smart nation goals.
Esker’s commitment to supporting digital transformation in Singapore
At Esker, we’re proud to be an IMDA-accredited solution and access point provider — a recognition that affirms our commitment to delivering trusted and compliant e-invoicing solutions to Singapore-based businesses.
We’re also excited to share that Esker is now officially certified under IMDA’s C5 framework, which is essential for transmitting e-invoices to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). Additionally, Esker’s solutions support the new Peppol PINT (Peppol International) format — two critical milestones that reinforce Esker’s leadership in e-invoicing enablement.
What does this mean for your business?
Certified on C5 (IRAS) by IMDA
On 15 April 2024, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) announced a phased implementation of InvoiceNow for GST-registered businesses, beginning in November 2025.
This initiative expands the traditional four-corner e-delivery model to include a fifth corner (C5), enabling the submission of invoice data to IRAS. The overall system design involves transmitting live invoice copies through InvoiceNow, as well as invoice data extracted from invoicing systems, to IRAS.

Peppol Service Provider in this context is an Access Point accredited by IMDA
The C5 certification (IRAS) ensures that Esker’s e-invoicing solution meets five essential criteria for compliance and usability in Singapore. These include:
- Secure access point capabilities for sending/receiving Peppol invoices
- A user-friendly invoicing interface
- Integration with accounting and ERP systems
- Secure invoice archiving
- Robust support services for onboarding and troubleshooting
With Esker’s C5 certification (IRAS), businesses can be assured that they are using a complete, secure and IMDA-approved solution that simplifies compliance and supports long-term scalability.
Ready for Peppol PINT
As Peppol evolves to accommodate global interoperability, the adoption of the Peppol PINT format represents the next phase of cross-border e-invoicing. Esker is already fully compliant with PINT, which means:
- Businesses can send invoices not just within Singapore, but across borders in the updated global Peppol format
- Future-proofing your invoicing process against international regulatory requirements
- Seamless compatibility with government and multinational systems adopting PINT
By being PINT-ready, Esker ensures your organisation stays ahead of the curve.
Seamless integration with InvoiceNow
Esker’s cloud-based e-invoicing solution is fully integrated with Singapore’s InvoiceNow network, making it easier than ever for companies to digitise their invoicing workflows. Key benefits include:
- Faster payment cycles through direct, system-to-system invoice exchange
- Improved accuracy and compliance with reduced manual entry and fewer errors
